5. Las Vegas Raiders week 18 - 23 yard touchdown pass to Joshua Palmer on 4th and 21
When the season was all but over, Justin Herbert stepped up like he always has. Down 29-14, 4th and 21, deep in Raiders territory, Herbert got a rare good pass protection rep from his offensive line, and delivered a strike through traffic in the secondary to rookie WR Joshua Palmer. The touchdown pass was indicative of the mental strength Herbert possesses during just his second year in the league, as well as his elite arm talent. This pass kept the Chargers season alive by the slimmest of margins and was the catalyst for the comeback that ultimately fell short.
