NFL power rankings, no. 6: Dallas Cowboys
The Dallas Cowboys suffered a really ugly loss to the Denver Broncos in Week 9 that definitely hurt their stock. However, every great team has a bad day and unless it becomes a trend, that is what we are going to chalk it up as for the Cowboys.
Dallas still only has two losses and even beat the Vikings with Cooper Rush as their quarterback. Dallas is a lock already to win the NFC East and is one of the five really good teams in the NFC that could make it to the Super Bowl. One loss to the Broncos does not change that.
NFL power rankings, no. 5: Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Another elite NFC team that could make it to the Super Bowl is the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Tom Brady appears to be the front-runner for the MVP award and as long as the Bucs keep winning games with him playing this well then he very well could be the league MVP.
The Bucs did have a really ugly loss to the New Orleans Saints in Week 8 and took their bye in Week 9. The rest of the schedule is really easy for the Bucs, who could easily finish with 13 or 14 wins this season.
