Pittsburgh Steelers 21, Denver Broncos 20

This might come as a shocking prediction considering Ben Roethlisberger is making it very apparent that he should have retired after last season and the Broncos are 3-1 on the season. It is even more shocking considering the fact that the team is expecting Teddy Bridgewater to be activated to play in Week 5 after leaving Week 4 early with a concussion.

While the Broncos are 3-1 on the season, their three wins are against teams who are a combined 2-10 this season and yes, the Steelers are a 1-3 football team but I still feel more comfortable betting on the infrastructure of the Steelers over Denver.

Mike Tomlin went 8-8 with Mason Rudolph and Duck Hodges. As bad as Big Ben is, they are still going to at least be close to .500 (they are not a playoff team) and that means that they will pick up games like this.

Do we really expect Vin Fangio to outcoach Mike Tomlin in an early slate game on the road in Pittsburgh, which is one of the toughest places in the league to play? This is a must-win for the Steelers this early in the season and they are going to play as such.

That being said, Big Ben's limitations will keep it close in this game. I have Denver scoring a pair of touchdowns with a pair of field goals while the Steelers will find the endzone three times to edge out the Broncos by one point.
