3. A clean game from the LA Chargers special teams

This might seem like a no-brainer but the LA Chargers need to play a clean game on the special teams side of the football. You can literally say this about any team as it is really hard to win a game with poor special teams performances, but it is even more true with the Chargers.

The kicking situation is not great. Tristan Vizcaino won the kicking job from Michael Badgley and while Charger fans are happy to see Badgley go, Vizcaino was by no means great in the preseason.

Vizcaino has to put together several solid outings before he fully earns the trust of Charger fans. Not only is Vizcaino a wild card, but the entire specials teams unit is as well. They were the worst special teams unit in the league.

This game is particularly important as it is naturally going to be a close game. Washington has a good defense, the Bolts are on the road and Washington's offense is not great.

This is going to be a gritty, close, low-scoring game and is absolutely one where the Chargers can lose because of one missed kick.
