Jackson has to step up for the sole fact that he's an elite corner in his prime who was dumped by the great Bill Belichick and New England.
Now he's on a surging Chargers team and he's going to have to live up to expectations if his acquisition is to be justified.
Knowing Coach Bill like I think I do, he doesn't make many mistakes with this sort of thing like cutting bait with very good players seemingly at the paramount of their careers. In order for Jackson to be one of the few Belichick missed on, he's going to have to have a great first season as an LA Charger.
That's a lot of pressure, yes. But he's the type of player that can certainly handle it having watched him closely for the past four seasons in Foxborough.
The Bolts were already pretty damn good in the secondary last year. JC is now supposed to put them over the top in that area.
