Despite the massive upgrades, we saw the LA Chargers make this offseason to their roster, there are still questions surrounding a handful of key players.

In order for the Bolts to live up to their potential in 2022 and truly establish themselves as a Super Bowl contender, these five key players need to step up big-time.

First, Trey Pipkins or whoever is going to get the bulk of the action at right tackle for the LA Chargers.

Pipkins currently appears to have the lead over Storm Norton, but either way that decision goes, whoever gets the majority of the time there needs to be able to play up to the remaining four slots on the offensive line, which is obviously stacked right now.

Right tackle is the clear weak point of the offensive line for the Bolts as of this moment, and I still get flashbacks to Maxx Crosby having free reign over Justin Herbert's throwing side in the season finale of 2021.

It was a bold move in the first round for the Chargers to pass on other linemen like Trevor Penning and Tyler Smith, who could've both slid nicely into that right tackle spot.

Now, the consequence is you have to rely on the young players who can step up (Trey Pipkins, Storm Norton, Brenden Jaimes, and even Jamaree Salyer) to actually do so.

The position is up for grabs as far as I'm concerned, and you're really going to need to hold your own if you want to keep up with the four studs already in line to start on this Chargers line.
