14. New York Jets
I am not the biggest Zach Wilson fan in the world but even I can admit that the New York Jets could be a frisky team if they were playing in the NFC. The Jets are building something with Wilson showing some flashes and the defense having some moments under Robert Saleh.
New York has a winning head coach and seems to have the foundation in place, it just might take an extra year. If the Jets can manage to hit a home run on their two top-10 picks this year then we might be talking about a fringe playoff contender in 2023 if Wilson pans out.
However, if Wilson does not pan out and those picks are duds then we will be talking about yet another head coaching change in New York after the 2023 season.
13. Pittsburgh Steelers
It is hard to rank the Steelers on this list as they are the only team that does not have a starting quarterback. While Pittsburgh did sign Mitchell Trubisky this offseason, all signs are pointing to the team taking a quarterback in the first round of the 2022 NFL Draft.
Trubisky might end up being the starter in 2022 and it is going to be really hard for him to be worse than Big Ben was last season. While the Steelers are well-coached and have never had a losing record under Mike Tomlin, it is hard to rank them much higher with a massive hole at the most important position.
But because it's Tomlin they will shock us and finish with an 8-8-1 record just to keep the streak alive.
