With the 159th overall pick in this LA Chargers mock draft, the Bolts select Jack Jones, CB, Arizona State

Just because the Chargers sign two starting-caliber cornerbacks in this hypothetical scenario does not mean that the team will completely forego the position in the draft. Brandon Staley did say at the NFL Combine that as long as he is the head coach the team will continue to target cover corners.

That is exactly what the Chargers are doing here. Jones is a great example of a cornerback prospect who has really good natural instincts and coverage ability. He is really athletic and showed the speed and fluidity to keep up with just about anyone in college.

So why is he a fifth-round prospect? He does lack some strength and can definitely work on his tackling and his impact in the run game. He is not an every-down cornerback coming into the league but he is someone who the Chargers could play in DIME packages to bolster the secondary, especially considering he played both in the slot and outside.

With the 214th overall pick in this LA Chargers mock draft, the Bolts select Luke Fortner, IOL, Kentucky

Even though the Chargers sign a starting right guard in this scenario they could still use some depth in the interior so they don't have to play people like Senio Kelemete again. Fortner is a developmental guard prospect who has some positional versatility, which is key as a depth draft pick.
