You want to talk about the LA Chargers trying to fix their run defense problem? Look no further than Georgia interior defensive lineman, Jordan Davis. Davis has been one of the biggest standouts in college football this season and has shot up draft boards and appears to be a bonafide first-round pick.

The hope is that he does not shoot up too far where the Chargers cannot select him. However, being an interior defensive lineman and having so many talented players atop the draft board helps that from being a problem.

This is exactly the kind of statement pick that the Bolts would love to make. Davis alone would not be enough to completely solve the problem but in Davis, the team would be getting a monster among boys that would be effective in both generating pressure up the middle as well as slowing down the run.

Davis has caught the attention of the national college football audience and the Chargers might even need to trade up if they want to secure his talents. Todd McShay ranks Davis as the 13th-best prospect in the draft and he likely won't fall to LA if they are picking 22, for example.

If Jackson is the most likely pick right now, Davis is the no. 1 dream pick. He has been dominating college football this season and that domination is exactly what the Bolts need up front.
