Jared Cook and Donald Parham: Six combined targets from Justin Herbert
The tight end position is going to be an interesting one to monitor this season as the team has four legitimately talented tight ends but nothing is a guarantee. Jared Cook is entering the latter stages of his career and Donald Parham is still somewhat unproven.
That being said, the position obviously still has to be part of the passing game and between the two I expect the tight end position to be targeted six times. That might seem low, but with so many weapons on the roster the Bolts will target the tight ends when needed.
As mentioned, Cook is getting up in age and probably won't be the all-around vertical tight end that he has been the last several seasons. Justin Herbert will target him on some third and short plays and I would not be surprised if he makes four catches in four targets.
As promising as Parham is, with all of the other weapons on the team I cannot project him to get more than 2-3 targets in this game. That being said, he is a touchdown candidate because of his red-zone capabilities and we have seen chemistry already developed with Herbert.
