Justin Herbert and the LA Chargers made a huge statement on Monday Night Football as the Bolts not only took care of business against the Las Vegas Raiders but took care of business pretty easily. The Chargers defeated the undefeated Raiders 28-14 in a game where they never trailed and were hardly within one possession.

The Chargers were coming off of a huge road win over the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 3 and we have seen this team lay an egg in a primetime game after the huge win so many times before. Not this time. Brandon Staley has instilled a new culture and the Chargers are taking care of business.

The Chargers are one of the hottest teams in the league with many NFL fans now realizing what we have been saying all offseason: the duo of Justin Herbert and Brandon Staley is going to be a problem for the league. Not just this season, but beyond.

Justin Herbert was not even the main star from the LA Chargers win.

This was a complete team win. The Bolts were really good in all three phases of the game and this was not a case of Justin Herbert carrying them to the promised land, which he has done several times before.

However, as we do with every LA Chargers game, we have to hand out a report card for both Herbert as well as Las Vegas Raiders quarterback, Derek Carr. Let's start with Herbert.
