The LA Chargers made their first big move of the offseason on Tuesday as the Bolts re-signed Mike Williams to a three-year, $60 million deal. While that will take up a good chunk of the team's salary-cap space, there is still more work to be done.

A lot of the focus might be on the defensive side of the ball after the Chargers finished 29th in points allowed last season. However, the team is still going to look to bolster the offense around Justin Herbert in some capacity, even if that means it comes in lesser moves.

The Chargers are obviously not going to sign a free agent at every single offensive position this offseason. However, they certainly have a board for every position and we are here to pick out one player in each of those positions.

One free agent target for the LA Chargers at each offensive position:

Quarterback: Chase Daniel

I mean, obviously, the Chargers are not targeting a quarterback that will actually play in 2022. The team might not even be targeting a quarterback at all with Easton Stick on the roster. Now that Justin Herbert is in year two of this offense, a veteran may not be needed.

That being said, Chase Daniel did seem to have a positive impact as a locker room leader and voice in Justin Herbert's ear and if the price is extremely cheap (which it will be) then the team is probably better off just bringing him back and moving Stick to the practice squad.

If bringing Daniel back restricts the team in any way, shape, or form then they should just roll with Stick and call it a day. But if they have the extra $1 million lying around then they should give Daniel a call.
