The LA Chargers have done a great job of addressing the offensive line but just because they did a great job last offseason does not mean that the work should stop (spoiler alert: this is not the only offensive line position on this list).
There is more depth to be desired at the guard position for the LA Chargers and depending on who is available and who the team goes with in the first round I would not even be shocked if the team spent as high as a second-round pick on a guard in the 2022 NFL Draft.
Oday Abouhsi was this season's bargain signing and he was playing pretty well until he tore his ACL against the Cleveland Browns. If Aboushi had a great season then he probably would have been brought back to start. Now, things are a bit foggy.
Matt Feiler is great but is getting older and there should be younger depth built behind him that is ready to take over when the time comes. The team has young depth in Brenden Jaimes, who is not ready to play yet and might end up being a better option as a swing tackle than a guard.
Whether it is getting a high-round rookie to start or getting a mid-round rookie to provide quality depth, the LA Chargers have to stay on top of the offensive line and not allow it to get to the point that it was before the 2021 season.
