The 2022 NFL Draft is right around the corner and the LA Chargers are hoping to continue what has been a solid offseason thus far. If the Chargers make the right selections in the draft then the team could ultimately end up cashing in on the Justin Herbert rookie contract Super Bowl window.

While the Bolts have made some great moves thus far, like every other team in the league, there are still some pressing needs to address in the draft. If you ask 100 Charger fans what the biggest need is, there is a good chance that you will get five different answers. Here is how we would rank those needs, 'Family Feud' style.

Ranking the LA Chargers 2022 draft needs:

5. Wide receiver

Wide receiver is a really interesting position for the 2022 NFL Draft. It definitely is not as big of a need as the other positions on this list considering the Chargers have two 1,000-yard receivers leading the way. That being said, it is more likely the Chargers will take a receiver in the first round than some other positions on this list.

Part of the reason for that is the prospects that are available. There is a situation in which a receiver who the Chargers really like falls to the team at 17 and they cannot pass on him. Personally, I am against that decision, but if the team's no. 1 WR on the board falls then Tom Telesco will probably pull the trigger.

This could be the case where a receiver has the smallest year one impact (especially if that pick is Jameson Williams) but has the larger long-term impact if the Bolts make the right pick.
