2. Senio Kelemete

This was just an awful showing for Senio Kelemete, who was playing in place of Matt Feiler. Many Charger fans wanted to see the team turn to rookie Brenden Jaimes, who played really well in the preseason and seemingly has a high ceiling. Instead, the Bolts turned to Kelemete as Jaimes is "not ready" and Kelemete himself did not appear to be ready himself. The veteran guard played horribly in this game.

Kelemete was getting beaten on the pass-rush more than he was successful in this game. He made Storm Norton look like a good offensive lineman as he constantly allowed pressure while also making horrible penalties as well.

Kelemete single-handedly destroyed a single drive for the LA Chargers in this game. Kelemete picked up two penalties on the first drive of the second half and then took perhaps the worst pass-blocking rep of the entire season on third down, resulting in a sack. That sack proved costly as Dustin Hopkins ended up missing the long field goal.

The pressure was part of the reason why Herbert struggled in this game and Kelemete was the guiltiest party when it comes to allowing pressure. He was awful in this game and should not play again. Jaimes has to be a better option, even if he is "not ready".
