1. Kansas City Chiefs
Ironically enough, the Kansas City Chiefs have the best interior defensive lineman in the entire division and it appears that he is not even doing to be starting the season as a defensive tackle in the Chiefs' 4-3 defense.
As it stands right now, Frank Clark appears to be starting at defensive end for Chiefs. However, because he has been such a presence at defensive tackle, and there is a good chance that he rotates there during the season, he is still enough to rank the Chiefs first on this list.
Now, it is important to note that Clark could face up to three years in prison with a felony gun charge. That being said, Clark is still expected to be at training camp and it certainly is possible that he plays this season.
The Chiefs' actual defensive tackles this season are not as good as Jones but they are not bad, either. Jarran Reed and Derrick Nnadi are both average at worst.
The great part about this position this season is that this order could end up completely flipped. All it is really going to take is one big breakout player for one of these teams to catapult themselves to the top of this list.
Hopefully that one team is the LA Chargers and that one breakout player is Jerry Tillery.
