Full Chargers mock draft after Tom Telesco's bold restructures

Chargers mock draft round 6: McClendon Curtis, IOL, Chattanooga
Based on what the Chargers have done this offseason already, the team is likely going to have Jamaree Salyer starting at left guard and Trey Pipkins starting at right tackle. The team needs more offensive line depth and gets that in McClendon Curtis.
Curtis is someone who the Chargers have already been tied to this offseason. This is a prototypical Tom Telesco pick where he finds someone from a smaller program that shines in a bowl game with the hope of developing them into something special.
Curtis is merely a depth piece for the time being and if anything happens to one of the starting tackles, the team might kick Salyer there and put Curtis at left guard.
Chargers mock draft round 7: Deneric Prince, RB, Tulsa
In most of my other mock drafts I have the Chargers drafting a running back earlier in the draft as it still seems like Isaiah Spiller won't be fully ready for his second season. But with how this Chargers mock draft panned out, it was hard to pass on any of the selected prospects to take a mid-round running back.
Instead, perhaps the Chargers will wait until the seventh round and completely go against what they have done the last three years and draft someone with athleticism. That is what the selection of Deneric Prince would represent. He has flaws as a running back that need to be coached up but man, his blend of size and speed can be dangerous.

If you are a team that is going to take a flier on a late-round running back then Deneric Prince is probably the guy to draft.
