3 former Chargers who thrived on other teams in 2022

The LA Chargers have had a lot of talent come through Los Angeles in recent years. While the overall team success has not been great over the last decade, there is no denying that the Bolts have had many notable players. That is why they are always the preseason darlings before the season begins.
There is a Bolts footprint scattered throughout the NFL as several teams benefitted from former Chargers putting together solid seasons in 2022. It would have been great if these players were still in Los Angeles for these seasons, but that is the nature of the business.
3 former Chargers who thrived on other teams in 2022:
1. Kyzir White
This is the most obvious candidate to make this list and is the most painful one as well. Kyzir White had a breakout season for the Chargers in 2021 and it seemed like a no-brainer to bring him back in 2022.
White ended up only signing for $3 million but that was still too much for the Chargers, who let him walk to the Philadelphia Eagles. Granted, this paved the way for a breakout season for Drue Tranquill, but just imagine how special it could have been with Tranquill and White on defense instead of the team relying on Kenneth Murray.
White did not have as good of a season in 2022 with the Eagles as he had the prior year with the Bolts but he was still more than solid. He finished with 110 combined tackles, 1.5 sacks and seven passes defended.
The Eagles voided White's contract for the 2023 season (which was expected) freeing him up to sign with any team in the league. Philly is unlikely to make the same mistake that the Chargers made and should bring him back if the price is right.
