Former Chargers who have already found new homes in free agency

Kyzir White - Arizona Cardinals
Kyzir White is one of the most painful former Chargers as the team decided not to pay him after his breakout 2021 season, allowing him to sign with the Philadelphia Eagles on a cheap one-year, $3 million contract. After one year in Philly, White will be returning back to the West but will be staying in the NFC.
White signed a two-year, $11 million contract with the Cardinals that finally sees him get paid for his solid production. That still might not that much money but that is the nature of the linebacker market and the kind of linebacker that White is.
Regardless, this is actually a really great signing for Arizona and gives the team one of the most fun defenses to break down on paper. There is so much versatility on the defensive side of the ball with former Eagles' DC Jonathan Gannon taking over the team.
White and Isaiah Simmons are a really fun combination of players that if used properly, can succeed at a high level and be a headache to play for opposing offenses. With Zaven Collins and Budda Baker as well there are definitely some dogs on the defensive side of the ball.
If the Cardinals can nail the 2023 NFL Draft then they could be a sleeper team in the NFC that is far better than anyone expects them to be right now. If so, White would have gone from one hugely successful breakout team to another, playing a key role on both defenses.
