Khalil Mack

A lot of people have forgotten just how dominant Khalil Mack can be. Chargers fans certainly have not forgotten how good Mack is but the rest of the league is seemingly sleeping on the fact that the Chargers just added an elite edge rusher alongside Joey Bosa.

Is he past his prime? Sure. But he is still playing at a top-tier level and he gave fans a lot to get excited about during the training camp scrimmage. Mack definitely does not seem to think that he is past his prime as he was disrupting both the pass and run game in the snaps he played.

The rest of the league doesn't seem to fully comprehend what the addition of Mack is going to do for this defense. Not only have the Chargers gotten an elite pass rusher, but Mack is one of the best edge rushers in the league against the run. He is a true two-tool player.

Not only that, but he is going to unlock Joey Bosa in a way that we have not seen before, especially as Bosa enters the second year of this defense. I firmly believe that we still have not seen the best version of Joey Bosa and while he has been in the league for a long time, he is still only 27 years old.

Brandon Staley is very cautious with his star players and there is a good chance that Mack does not even play a single snap during the preseason, which will keep Chargers fans waiting even longer to see this duo in action in game situations.

But man, when it finally does happen, the rest of the league is going to be put on notice.
