LA Chargers training camp has been eventful thus far as several players have stood out and are making a case for a bigger role on the team during the 2022 season. Fans have been flocking out to training camp in droves to witness what is the most talented Chargers team since 2006.

Sunday's training camp practice is unlike any other training camp practice thus far. Not only is it held in the evening, but it is going to consist of an inter-squad scrimmage. Of course, the Chargers are not going to be going 110%, but it will give us a great idea of what to expect this season.

While there is still a lot of camp left as well as preseason games to play, there are some takeaways that fans should be hoping come out of this scrimmage.

4 questions we hope are answered during LA Chargers training camp scrimmage:

1. Who has the edge as the starting right tackle?

Perhaps the most important starting roster battle during camp is at right tackle between Trey Pipkins and Storm Norton. Heading into camp Pipkins was believed to have the edge over Norton but both players have received first-team reps, making it hard to make out who is in the lead.

It truly is an open competition and the Chargers are likely going to have them on other teams to split time. Those in attendance should be paying close attention to who the coaching staff seems to favor more, as well as how the two are performing.

It does not matter who starts if they both are playing poorly. The hope is that one of the two can simply be better than they have been in the past, regardless of who it is. As long as the Chargers can get that it will be a massive win.
