2022 NFL mock draft, picks 13-16:
13. Houston Texans select Drake London, WR, USC
Brandin Cooks is entering the last year of his deal and the receiving room behind him is abysmal in Houston. With the 13th overall pick, the Texans go and get the big-bodied, athletic Drake London for Davis Mills to throw to. London and Cooks have a really nice opposing dynamic and in year two London will be ready to take that leap to bonafide WR1.
14. Baltimore Ravens select Trent McDuffie, CB, Washington
This is a perfect selection for the Baltimore Ravens. While Baltimore has talent already in the secondary, they would only be doubling-down on that talent while also getting younger in the process. The trio of Marlon Humphrey, Marcus Peters and Trent McDuffie (with Marcus Williams and Chuck Clark at safety) could create the best secondary in the entire NFL.
15. Philadelphia Eagles select Andrew Booth Jr, CB, Clemson
With the first of two back-to-back picks the Philadelphia Eagles get Darius Slay some help in the secondary with a solid cover corner in Andrew Booth. The Eagles had a mediocre secondary last season and if Booth comes into the league refined and Slay stays healthy then that will definitely change in 2022.
16. Philadelphia Eagles select Jameson Williams, WR, Alabama
I know that the Philadelphia Eagles have taken a receiver two years in a row but I do not think that necessarily stops them from taking another receiver with this pick. Jameson Williams probably would have been a top 10 pick if he was not hurt and the Eagles simply take the best player available knowing they have a third first-round pick at 19th overall. Williams won't last until 19.
