The LA Chargers rebuilt the defense in the offseason after having one of the worst units in the entire league. Derwin James and Joey Bosa now have more help alongside them and while the Chargers might not be elite defensively, they should absolutely be better than they were last season.

The Chargers' new-look defense is going to get tested by some powerful offenses in the 2022 season. However, the Bolts are also going to get to get some pushover games against some of the worst offenses in the NFL.

Of course, anything can happen on any given Sunday, but the Bolts have to be excited to play these four teams, whose offenses stand out below the rest as the worst of the worst.

The four worst offenses the LA Chargers play in 2022:

4. Jacksonville Jaguars

I debated putting the Jacksonville Jaguars on this list at all as the worst part of the team from last year, Urban Meyer, is no longer in the building. Jacksonville does still have Trevor Lawrence, who was the most sure-fire first-overall pick at quarterback since Andrew Luck.

That definitely should mean something and there is a good chance that they play themselves off this list with a solid season from Lawrence and co. That being said, they still won't be an elite offense and the Chargers catch them early in the season before they can fully figure it out.

The Jaguars have to be included on this list until they prove that they shouldn't be. It is as simple as that. Adding an extremely overpaid Christian Kirk does not change the team for the better, at least not yet.
