Week 15 outcomes that help the LA Chargers playoff chances:

Tennessee Titans over Pittsburgh Steelers

This might not seem like that impactful of a game for the LA Chargers. After losing to the Chiefs on Thursday night there is no real chance for the Chargers to sneak into the one seed so they do not need the Titans to lose and the Steelers have already lost to the Bolts and are not that great of a football team.

The Steelers could very well still sneak into the playoffs as they are currently sitting with a 6-6-1 record. If Pittsburgh wins this game then they will only be half a game behind the LA Chargers in the playoff hunt, which only crowds the fight for the wild-card seeds even more.

While the Chargers should be able to outlast the Steelers as the Bolts should be favored in each of their last three games, anything can happen and the more teams that rack up the losses earlier in the season the better for the Bolts.

While a 7-6-1 record puts the Steelers right in the hunt for an AFC playoff spot, it is still going to be pretty tough for them to outlast the Chargers or other teams in the conference. The Steelers take on the Chiefs, Ravens and Browns to end the season. Those are all tough games and the Steelers could realistically even finish the year on a four-game losing streak.

The quicker that the Steelers are out of the hunt the better and with a Titans' win not impacting the Bolts at all, they should be rooting for Ryan Tannehill to get the job done.
