7 Chargers free agents who are still searching for a team
5. Breiden Fehoko
There is a possibility that Breiden Fehoko simply follows in Donald Parham's footsteps and does the exact same thing that the tight end did. LA non-tendered both Parham and Fehoko and as previously mentioned, Parham has already agreed to return to the team.
The Chargers made the right decision in non-tendering both players. While the business side of the game can get ugly at times, it is not worth paying more than market value for players, especially when you are in a cap crunch.
There is a chance that the Chargers had the motivation of non-tendering Fehoko so they could bring him back for cheaper. After all, Fehoko has played really well in the chances he has gotten and has been one of the better run defenders on the team.
On the other hand, the Chargers have never really seemed to be in love with Fehoko, only giving him chances when they absolutely had to. Plus, if the two sides were interested in a deal it probably would have happened by now.
Regardless of where Fehoko's future lies two things are for certain: he has earned his place in the NFL and his food takes are terrible.
