The LA Chargers may not have impressed much before their Week 8 bye but at the end of the day, the team still has a 4-3 record and is one game behind the Kansas City Chiefs in the AFC West. If the Chargers catch fire after the bye and beat the Chiefs in their second matchup then winning the division still can happen.

Of course, that is going to be a big challenge with how the Chargers have played this season and how good Kansas City is. That is why it is so important for the Chargers to utilize this bye week and add reinforcements to the roster before the November 1 trade deadline.

However, the Chiefs are looking to do the same thing, especially after restructuring Travis Kelce's contract in order to create more cap space. The last thing the Bolts need is for the Chiefs to add an impact player and there are three potential trade candidates that would particularly sting.

3 players that Chargers fans better hope don't get traded to the Kansas City Chiefs:

1. William Jackson, CB

If there is one area of the Kansas City Chiefs that the Chargers could attack it is the secondary. Kansas City has always battled having a below-average defense alongside its elite offense and that has been the case yet again this season.

Kansas City has not been good against the pass this season as the Chiefs have allowed the third-most passing yards in the NFL and the most passing touchdowns. Granted, they have played great quarterbacks but the Chargers have a great quarterback.

William Jackson would be a welcomed addition to that secondary after he has requested a trade to the Washington Commanders. While he is not an elite lock-down CB1, he is someone who can make a serious difference in the bigger picture.

If Jackson is on the team and Trent McDuffie comes back at full speed then suddenly the Chiefs have a secondary that is not so easy to throw against.
