The LA Chargers were one of the more active teams during the initial wave of free agency. They rebuilt their defense through trades and signings, creating potentially one of the best units in the NFL.

One area that hasn't been heavily addressed is the offensive line, specifically the right tackle spot. They currently have Storm Norton as the starter at that spot.

The 27-year old tackle has struggled heavily since joining the Chargers in 2020. Last season he played in 1078 snaps. He allowed 60 total pressures and nine sacks. He finished the season with a PFF grade of 60.2, the 69th best in the NFL.

While they have already secured their left tackle of the future in Rashawn Slater, there is no youth at the other tackle spot. There is a strong possibility that they address this position at some point in next month's draft. While they may decide to go either defensive line or wide receiver in the first round, the tackle class is deep enough where they can find a quality playmaker in the middle rounds.

Securing a young right tackle can ensure the protection of quarterback Justin Herbert for the foreseeable future.

Here are three tackles the LA Chargers could target later in the draft.
