2. Nasir Adderley

Nasir Adderley's career with the LA Chargers never really seemed to take off. There were a lot of expectations for the 2019 second-round pick and while Adderley flashed moments of insane potential, consistency was a problem for Adderley across all four of his seasons in LA.

The first two years in the NFL was a struggle for Adderley but there were at least some excuses. Injuries really delayed his rookie season and then he did not get a normal second season in the league due to a global pandemic. Adderley turned the page in year three under Brandon Staley but did not continue progressing in the right direction.

Instead, Adderley took a turn for the worse in 2022. He continued being insanely inconsistent and unreliable against the run and was playing poorly in coverage to the point where Brandon Staley benched him in the Wild Card Round against the Jaguars.

Perhaps there is another team out there that can unlock the potential that Adderley definitely has as a pro, it just won't happen for the Chargers. It is hard to miss Adderley as any replacement-level safety can offer the same, if not more, than Adderley offered.

Heck, Alohi Gilman was far better than Adderley and he was not even that special (and is under contract still). Replacing Adderley won't be much of an issue.
