LA Chargers: Predicting Justin Herbert’s 4 best games in 2021

Week 15 vs. Kansas City Chiefs

All four games on this list are home games and that is by design. I do not think it is a stretch to predict that Justin Herbert’s best games will be in front of a home crowd inside of a stadium where he is not going to be tested at all by the elements.

You could make a case for the road game against the Cincinnati Bengals or the road game against the Las Vegas Raiders, and while I still expect him to have a solid game in each of those matchups, it is these four home games that are going to stick out above the rest.

There really is not much analysis that I can offer here that you already don’t know. The Kansas City Chiefs are the best offensive team in the NFL and are going to bring it to the Chargers, even if the Chargers have had success in limiting them in the past.

This will be a battle between two great young quarterbacks that will both fill up the stat sheet. I do have the Chiefs taking both against the Chargers but I think Herbert will push the Chiefs to their limit and make every Charger fan confident in a potential playoff matchup between these two teams.

In my record prediction, I have this game going to overtime with Patrick Mahomes simply getting the ball first and not allowing Herbert to have a chance to win it in overtime.

However, if my overtime prediction is correct all it takes is a coin toss and Herbert could very well best Mahomes in front of a home crowd.
