When looking at the LA Chargers team this year, it’s hard not to think of Super Bowl aspirations within the very near future. The only thing holding the Bolts back currently from those dreams is the youth on their team. The Chargers have a lot of young talent on their roster that needs to develop before they can be taken as a serious contender.
After hitting on Justin Herbert in the draft last year, the Chargers seem to have found their next franchise quarterback just a season after losing Philip Rivers. 2021 will start a new era in Los Angeles with star QB Justin Herbert and newly signed head coach Brandon Staley, who worked as the Rams’ defensive coordinator in 2020.
2021 is primed to be a big year for the LA Chargers. With a new head coach in Brandon Staley and promising second-year quarterback Justin Herbert leading the way, we can expect some big things from this team.
With a whole new system in LA, we can assume that there are a handful of players that will be seeing an uptick in production from years past. Staley led the Rams to the best defense in the league in 2020.
