3. Micah Parsons, OLB, Penn State

Not enough people are talking about Micah Parsons out of Penn State. Some mocks I’ve looked at have him inside the top ten. Others barely have him in the first round.

The word on the street seems to be nobody really knows what to do with this guy, which presents the Chargers with a great opportunity to fill the void Melvin Ingram is currently leaving by not being on the roster.

Ingram could very well re-sign with the Bolts and even if he doesn’t, Kyler Fackrell is a very underrated pass rusher.

But a guy like Parsons who can play both outside and inside linebacker and constantly plays with a chip on his shoulder might be the direction to go if you’re the Chargers and you want to revamp your pass rush.

Parsons is a bit undersized for the defensive end position, but in today’s game that continues to get smaller and faster at most positions, why not take the chance on him?
