LA Chargers: Wins and losses from the first week of free agency

Free agency has finally started and the last week has been a long and eventful one for the LA Chargers. They’ve signed some key pieces to the offensive line and made some good depth signings.
This article will take a look at some of the LA Chargers’ wins and losses during the free agency period thus far.
Signing Corey Linsley – WIN for the LA Chargers
Going into free agency everyone knew the two offensive linemen that needed to be on the Chargers’ radar: Joe Thuney and Corey Linsley.
While losing on the bid on Thuney was upsetting, especially to a division rival, I think the Chargers still came out with an amazing deal.
Linsley was elected to first-team All-Pro last year and throughout the whole season, he didn’t commit one penalty. Not only that but he also only allowed one sack throughout the 2020 season. The money that the Chargers gave Linsley compared to what the Chiefs gave Thuney also makes me feel like they got the better deal.
Overall, the signing is a great starting point to rebuilding point for the offensive line, and hopefully, both Linsley and Feiler can have an immediate impact.
