The LA Chargers need to make the right hire if the team decides to move on from Anthony Lynn.

It seemed like a foregone conclusion that the LA Chargers were going to fire Anthony Lynn after the season just two weeks ago. However, then the Bolts rattled off two wins in a row and now have a legitimate chance of winning out and finishing the season with a 7-9 record.

The concern for many Charger fans is that this would be enough for Anthony Lynn to keep his job next season. The coaching job has been pretty woeful this season and the fact that the team will have a losing record despite getting the best rookie quarterback season ever is indicative of that.

It is not a guarantee that Lynn is fired. However, our own Alex Insdorf gave his opinion on why he thinks the December wins won’t save Lynn’s job regardless, and I have to agree with him.

While there is the possibility of the team giving Lynn one more chance if the team finishes 7-9, I also think that Tom Telesco knows that if he keeps Lynn, and he gets canned next season, that Telesco will probably get canned as well.

With that in mind, I would bet that there will indeed be a head-coaching vacancy in LA in the offseason. There are so many potential candidates to consider and one thing is for certain: there are certain coaches that should not get the job.

Here are three potential, realistic coaching candidates that the Bolts should absolutely not bring in to right the ship next season.
