With 2021 jobs and player roles up in the air, these LA Chargers need to ball out to keep their spots.

Many tough decisions will be made in the offseason. Perhaps no decision is more important than the team’s personnel itself. With an extensive list of free agents and cuttable contracts, some Chargers will have to play better in these last four games to keep their spots in LA.

Forrest Lamp

Forrest Lamp truly had a great start to the season. He did not allow more than three pressures in any game until Week 11. Though the first nine games, he allowed just 12 pressures.

The last three weeks have been tough sledding for Lamp. He’s allowed 17 of his 29 pressures on the season in just the last three weeks.  It also hasn’t been a particularly tough level of competition. The Jets and Patriots rank near the bottom of the league in pass rush win rate but were able to force Lamp into giving up pressures and sacks.

#76 hadn’t even given up a sack on the season until the Jets game. Lamp will need to find that level of play from earlier on in the season if he wants the Chargers to re-sign him.
