4. The LA Chargers pull out the win in the end
I am not the kind of fan that opts to always be optimistic and say that the LA Chargers are going to win every single game — that is just not reasonable. However, every season we are due for one of these surprise wins out of the Chargers and I really think this is going to be the one this season.
Last year it was the surprise win against the Green Bay Packers. The year before it was against the Kansas City Chiefs. The year before that they blew out the Dallas Cowboys on Thanksgiving in a surprising fashion. You get the point.
A game between two good offenses and two good defenses is bound to be close as long as the Chargers do not make any special teams or big offensive mistakes. While that might seem inevitable with the Chargers, they did re-assign special teams coordinator George Stewart, which hopefully will provide a special teams spark.
Plus, Justin Herbert *knock on wood* is not one to make many big offensive mistakes and the Chargers have actually been a lot better in not turning the football over this season. They only have 12 giveaways in 10 games this season, four of which came against the Carolina Panthers.
This will be a close game and the Chargers are bound to win one of them, right? Every week there is a shocking game in the NFL and the Chargers are absolutely talented enough to shock the Bills, who have looked really good at times but also not that great at other times.
Perhaps I am too optimistic about this one or maybe it is the fact that the Chargers have dominated the Bills in recent matchups. Regardless, I like the LA Chargers’ chances to win.
