2. Austin Ekeler scores two touchdowns in his return

The LA Chargers have not officially announced Austin Ekeler’s return this Sunday. However, reading between the lines we can conclude that he probably will be back in action in some capacity against the Bills.

Ekeler returned to practice on Wednesday and his comments on his Twitch streams seem to indicate that he is fully healthy. Of course, the Chargers are going to be very careful in not rushing Ekeler, especially after signing him to a four-year contract.

While all signs are pointing to Ekeler playing on Sunday, I still would not expect him to have a big workload. Thus, it might seem a bit contradicting that I am predicting him to get two touchdowns in his return.

The Chargers will pick their spots with Ekeler and that is what is going to result in the touchdowns.

I think Ekeler will score one touchdown via the ground and one touchdown via a Justin Herbert pass. All in all, I think he ends up with somewhere around 15 carries and five receptions. Again, not big numbers, but the Chargers will pick their spots with Ekeler and two of those spots will result in six points.
