2. Melvin Gordon has a huge game

I know that every LA Chargers fan wants to see Melvin Gordon have a bad game in Week 8 and even commit a costly turnover that costs the Denver Broncos the game. Gordon did not leave the Chargers on good terms with the fans and his comments since then have not helped matters.

While in a perfect world Gordon will have a bad game, I do think that he has a huge game against the Chargers. I hope I am wrong and the Chargers contain Gordon, but I just cannot see that happening.

The Chargers made James Robinson look fantastic last week and Gordon is a more talented version of Robinson (albeit different run styles) that can contribute in the passing and running game.

Drew Lock is coming off of an injury and Gordon wants revenge against his old team. I think the Broncos turn to him often and if the Chargers defense plays as it did in Week 7 then he will have a big game.

Phillip Lindsay was limited in practice on Thursday so even if he plays his snap count might be limited. This just gives Gordon more of a runway to pick up yards against the Chargers.
