Which LA Chargers might make sense as fantasy plays in Week 2 against the Chiefs?

The LA Chargers will have their hands full with Andy Reid and Patrick Mahomes on Sunday. If Los Angeles is going to keep it close, they need to score points and extend drives at a pretty high rate. The offense will certainly want to get more yards and points than they did in Cincinnati.

Keenan Allen and the wide receiver plays

Tyrod Taylor developed a nice connection with Mike Williams in the first game. For a flex spot, Williams wasn’t bad in PPR leagues. The disappointment for many fantasy owners was Keenan Allen, who finished with four catches for 37 yards.

It’s still the right decision to start Allen, as both Taylor and Shane Steichen know that they need to get Allen more involved. He also gets to play against a depleted Chiefs’ secondary that will be without Charvarius Ward and Bashaud Breeland. Don’t push the panic button with fantasy trade ideas for Slayer yet if he’s on your roster.

Past Allen and Williams, there’s no other wide receiver worth a start in this one. Jalen Guyton isn’t going to get the volume necessary to be worthy of a flex. Joe Reed and K.J. Hill won’t either.
