There are a lot of decisions to be made about the LA Chargers depth chart.

The 2020 NFL season is officially one weekend away (not counting Thursday Night Football) and as a result, we are starting to see the final roster cuts from every team trickle out of training camp. Thus far, the notable names that the LA Chargers have cut are Darius Jennings, Bobby Holly, Joe Gaziano and Kevin McGill. There will be more.

One of the most interesting areas of the LA Chargers depth chart is the wide receiver room, which has already seen two notable cuts in both Jennings and Andre Patton, who was cut by the team earlier in camp when rosters had to be cut to 80 players.

A big issue for the Chargers last season was depth behind Keenan Allen and Mike Williams. The team has done a solid job of bringing in new faces to the fold but they still do not have any real NFL experience behind the 1,000-yard duo, especially now with Jennings out.

At the time of writing this, the LA Chargers have the following wide receivers on the depth chart:

  • Keenan Allen
  • Mike Williams
  • Dalton Schoen – R
  • Joe Reed – R
  • K.J. Hill – R
  • Jason Moore
  • Tyron Johnson
  • Jalen Guyton
  • Jeff Cotton – R

That needs to be trimmed down and chances are that it will be trimmed down in some regards by the time you eventually read this. Here is how we here at Bolt Beat think the wide receiver room should shape up.
