1. Sam Tevi is the starting left tackle for the LA Chargers

Out of every position on the offensive line the one that has the biggest question mark is the left tackle position, you know, the one that is widely considered as the most important as the left tackle protects the quarterback’s blindside.

The best-case scenario for the team, aside from moving Bryan Bulaga to left tackle, which seems unlikely, is that Trey Pipkins takes the steps that the team was hoping he would take and can be an average left tackle in year two.

There is also the possibility of XFL signing Storm Norton stepping up, but that is about it.

If those two things do not happen then the Chargers might just go with what they are familiar with and give Sam Tevi the starting left tackle job, which should be a nightmare situation for every single Charger fan.

Tevi simply is not good and having him as the starting left tackle for Tyrod Taylor would be a nightmare. Do you want to take out Taylor’s biggest strength as a quarterback? Put Tevi at left tackle.

This is not just a worst-case scenario possibility, though. It is something that absolutely could happen. Tom Telesco said that Tevi had “very good left tackle feet” and there is a legitimate discussion if experience will favor Tevi over someone else.
