The LA Chargers would be foolish to trade Melvin Ingram.

The LA Chargers made massive headlines on Tuesday when ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter reported that the team agreed to a five-year, $135 million extension with Joey Bosa. Bosa will be a Charger for another six seasons and got the most guaranteed and highest salary of any non-quarterback player in NFL history.

Despite the high price tag, this is a move that has been welcomed with open arms by Charger fans. Bosa headlined a 2021 free-agent class that has some other notable names, with many fans worrying that Bosa would walk away after the 2020 season.

He didn’t and now has the legitimate chance to become the greatest edge-rusher in Chargers’ history and the best defensive player since Junior Seau.
