The LA Chargers take on the Buffalo Bills in Week 12 of the 2020 NFL season.

The LA Chargers are on the road in Week 12 of the 2020 NFL season and are taking on the Buffalo Bills in a game that is going to have existing narratives built into it.

That is because the Chargers’ likely starting quarterback, Tyrod Taylor, made his name with the Buffalo Bills and this is the first time that Taylor will ever face his former team. Taylor was solid with the Bills, but the team moved to youth and drafted Josh Allen early in the 2018 NFL Draft.

Chargers’ head coach Anthony Lynn is also facing his former team, although it is much different than when he left it.

This narrative will only exist if Tyrod still has the job in Week 12. All signs are pointing to Taylor holding on to the job for an entire season to give Justin Herbert a year to learn. However, if Taylor is not playing up to standard or gets hurt, Herbert will probably get his chance earlier than expected.

As we have with every Chargers opponent in 2020, let’s break down the Bills as an opponent, including their key additions and subtractions from the offseason and how the Chargers can beat the Bills in Week 12.
