The LA Chargers host the New York Jets in Week 6 of the 2020 NFL season.
To prepare for the upcoming 2020 season, which is approaching us very fast (and can hopefully continue as planned during the COVID-19 pandemic), we have been breaking down all of the LA Chargers‘ opponents in the 2020 season.
Thus far, we have broken down the Cincinnati Bengals, Tampa Bay Buccaneers and New Orleans Saints. Today, we break down the team that the Chargers are hosting in Week 6 of the 2020 NFL season, the New York Jets.
While the Chargers are hosting the Jets, New York is playing the Chargers at the perfect time. The Jets are coming to LA after the Chargers have to play back-to-back games out East against the Bucs and Saints. Then, after this game, the Chargers have to travel back to Florida to face the Miami Dolphins.
That is a lot of traveling in a one-month window that could be even harder to manage with the current status of the country. The Jets could not have caught the Chargers at a better time.
However, the Bolts still seem to be the better team on paper. As we have with the other three teams, let’s break down who the Jets gained and lost in the offseason as well as what it will take for the Chargers to emerge victoriously.
