Some LA Chargers have to play better so the team can make the playoffs.
The LA Chargers are in a great position to have a turnaround season in 2020. After being one of the most disappointing teams in the league last season, and having the worst win-difference from 2018, the Chargers should be hungry to prove the doubters wrong.
Not everyone is doubting the Chargers, though, as The Washington Post tabs the Chargers as the team to most-likely go from worst to first next season. It is going to be hard to come in first, because of the Chiefs, but they have the talent to be a playoff team.
Charger fans should know better than to be overly optimistic, though. The Bolts have a special way of ripping our hearts out almost every season yet somehow surprising us with it despite it happening so frequently.
That could absolutely happen yet again this season.
The team is talented but in order to really ensure that the team makes the playoff, three players, in particular, are going to have to step up and play better than before. Of course, the goal is for every player to improve, but for these players, it is critical.
