Chargers moment: Philip Rivers throws awful INT in Detroit loss

The Chargers had this game won (or, at least tied) when suddenly No. 17 threw the football right to Darius Slay to seal a win for the Lions. Little did Chargers fans know they would be watching three more of those before the the bye week.

Chargers moment: Roderic Teamer makes his first start

Roderic Teamer was a preseason standout, and someone Chargers fans may come to know more as he progresses as a strong safety. Unfortunately, for now, he’s known as the guy who got roasted in Week 3.

Against the Texans, Teamer gave up seven receptions on eight targets for 96 yards and two touchdowns, a game the Chargers looked pretty good in playing against an AFC contender. Sadly, Teamer was not ready for the NFL that day, and the Deshaun Watson had no problem exploiting the rookie.

Chargers moment: Melvin Gordon fumbles it all away

This is quite possibly the worst Chargers play of the entire season, a play serving as the icing on the expired moldy cake that was Gordon’s return from holding out.

By some miracle, Gordon has completely turned his season around with stellar play over the past three weeks. But this play quite simply lost the Chargers the game, and their record is suffering because of it.
