Injury Impact Report

Kansas City Chiefs Injury Impact Report: 5

If the most important player on offense is the quarterback, the most important defensive player is arguably the person who gets to the quarterback – the edge rusher. The Chiefs are missing three good ones, which cuts down on a massive advantage that they could have had over the Chargers.

Furthermore, the questionable status of Fuller will be important, as the Chiefs will want their best slot corner available to cover Allen. Things could be worse for the Chiefs, but things could certainly be better.

Los Angeles Chargers Injury Impact Report: 8.5

In total, it appears that the Chargers will be missing four offensive linemen that have started this season in Okung, Forrest Lamp, Mike Pouncey, and Tevi. The game against the Oakland Raiders demonstrated how significant the consequences of that can be, as Rivers was off all night due to significant pressure.

Three times Chargers have rallied to make playoffs. Next

The Chargers will be missing impactful safeties Derwin James and Adrian Phillips. While they would be impactful in any game, they would be even more valuable against Patrick Mahomes. Hopefully, the Chargers’ other difference-makers will step up and deliver a much-needed win.
