In a game that will likely determine if there is anything to this season for the Los Angeles Chargers, the Green Bay Packers come into Dignity Health Sports Complex for a Week 9 clash.
The Chargers improved their record to 3-5 with a win over the Chicago Bears last week, but it was far from a great performance. They will need to play much better football if they are to defeat the 7-1 Green Bay Packers, one of the best teams in the league.
Aaron Rodgers is playing at an MVP level and thus far, new head coach Matt LaFleur seems to be a great fit. The Chargers will have their work cut out for them.
- The biggest thing to keep an eye on in this game is new offensive coordinator Shane Steichen and how things will look on offense following the dismissal of Ken Whisenhunt.
- The Chargers have beaten the Packers just one time ever. That was 35 years ago.
- Michael Badgley will kick for the first time this year. How will he do following a tough groin injury?
Kickoff is scheduled for 1:25 p.m. PT and the game will be televised on CBS. Jim Nantz and Tony Romo will have the call.
As usual, there will be a live chat right here in the comment section, so check back often and join fellow fans of the Chargers to talk about the game.
Following the game, we will have the game covered from all angles, so check out our post-game coverage as well!
