Sharif Finch, Outside Linebacker – Out (Shoulder)

Reggie Gilbert, Outside Linebacker – Questionable (Knee)

Gilbert and Finch are both depth players at outside linebacker for the Titans. Neither has over eight tackles on the season, so their losses will primarily impact special teams depth.

Chris Milton, Cornerback – Out (Calf)

Chris Milton, whom the Titans claimed off of waivers during this season, is a depth option for the Titans defense. His loss primarily impacts special teams depth.

Injury Impact Report

Tennessee Titans Injury Impact: 6

While the majority of the Titans’ injuries are to depth players, each of their three injuries to starters are to players who could be of particular importance against the Chargers.

Walker could be utilized by the Titans to attack the Chargers’ poor coverage linebackers. Brown could be used to combat Ekeler and Henry in the passing game, and Wake would be valuable in attacking the Chargers’ poor pass protection. While three major injuries is a small number in Week 7, they are relatively important ones against the Bolts.

Los Angeles Chargers Injury Impact: 8.5

While the Chargers should be ecstatic about the impending return of Okung, they will not get him back this week, and they are still hurting in the secondary without James and Phillips.

But, perhaps just as important as those injuries in this game will be a pair of new injuries. The Chargers will be missing starting interior linemen Jones and Mebane against the Titans.

Since the Titans rushing attack is by far their stronger suit offensively, the performance of backups Square and Tillery will be vital in this important matchup.
