5 things Los Angeles Chargers fans might say

“We have the worst luck with injuries of any team in the league”
It’s hard to argue against that statement. Injuries are part of the game of football, but the Chargers have dealt with an inordinate amount of injuries over the years.
Many fans have gotten so tired of talking about all of the guys on the injury report that they refuse to use that as an excuse going forward. But consistently not having the best players on the field is a pretty valid excuse when your team loses a game.
The Chargers have dealt with season-ending injuries to key players such as Keenan Allen and Hunter Henry in recent seasons, as well as long-term injuries that have knocked out Joey Bosa and Mike Williams for large portions of seasons.
The 2019 season has been no different as the Chargers are dealing with what seems like more injuries that in any season before.
Derwin James, Adrian Phillips, Mike Pouncey and Dontrelle Inman have all hit injured reserve this season. Henry has been missing since Week 1 with a knee injury and Michael Badgley has yet to kick this season due to a groin injury.
The injuries have been difficult to overcome this year and several times in years past. But the great teams find a way to do it.
