We spend so much time focusing on all these great defensive backs for the Chargers. The Jackboys is what they call themselves. Well, time to show some appreciation to the Chargers defensive back’s coach, Ron Milus.

Every year, it’s something. Jason Verrett, Hayward, Trevor Williams, King, James, Davis, Jenkins. If Roderic Teamer all the sudden snags a pick against Denver, would we be surprised? Milus continues to just bring out the best of these guys.

Let’s face it. Gus Bradley will probably at some point get another job somewhere else in the league at some point. A team that wants to replicate the Chargers’ defense will show him an offer too enticing to pass up. The very second that happens, Milus better be the first coach to get an interview with the Chargers for the defensive coordinator role, because this man has done so much for this team over the last few years.

It should happen, and when it does, the Chargers will be in good hands. These players, these coaches, despite a 2-2 start, have been awesome and amazing to watch. God, this is such an awesome football team.
